Class of 2017, 2018 and 2019 Join The Franklin County Youth Council

The Franklin County Advisory Council is searching for high school students across Franklin County to form the Franklin County Youth Council.

The FCYC will offer 40 youth from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to participants in a leadership development program while acting as ambassadors for FCYC and serving as leaders in their own communities. The Council is being created to elevate youth voices and contributing to programming while providing unique opportunities for youth to be drivers of their own ideas from conception to implementation and reflection.

As a member of the FCYC, you will be able to:
Take part in creating a FCYC Portal
Represent FCYC at conferences and special events
Participate in Leadership, Public Speaking, Civic Responsibility, and Media Trainings
Plan events and service projects
Participate in job shadowing and field trips

Students interested in applying should complete the FCYC application and submit by application deadline, Wednesday April 6, 2016 by 4:00 p. m.

All applicants must have a reference form complete by someone who is familiar with you and your life experience or who has served as an advisor/leader of a school and/or community related organization in which you are involved.
