Postive Behavioral Intervention and Supports

Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports is an application of a behaviorally-based systems approach to enhance the capacity of schools, families, and communities to design effective environments that improve the link between research-validated practices and the environments in which teaching and learning occurs..This is basically a process of asking questions and then developing solutions based on specific  answers. We want to know:
  • Under what circumstances (when, where, with whom, and during what situations) is the child’s problem behavior most and least likely?
  • What does the child get or avoid through their problem behavior (as well as for positive behavior)?
